Retreat in the Heart of Darjeeling

Wrapped in a sari of love

Here in Mumbai, India, Saturday started by my best efforts at wrapping myself in a sari to begin our presentations on Divine Love—the path of the Ruby Ray.

Even though my sari is thankfully pre-pleated and stitched, I still have trouble getting the pleats in the right place. I have to be inspected by Poonam and I require at least 15 safety pins…my secret to success.

Imagine swaddling yourself in yards of fabric!

When she’s not helping me, Poonam is manning the bustling book table.
A gracious mother and daughter who were visiting India decided to join our team in Mumbai and help with the workshop. Rev. Elisa Carrasco and Lilian Alvarado.
Our workshop began and Jaspal Soni led the way.
Lauren and Lilian were masters of the AV station.
By the end of Day 1 I felt wrapped in a sari of love.
On day two we captured our Zoom guests on the big screen.
Glowing celebration.

What a team!

    Lois, your ruby sari is just beautiful! Having attempted to wear saris I can completely relate. Yet there is a certain spiritual spiral of Light in that gorgeous colorful silk.

    Just letting you know our doggie Duffy’s prognosis is not good and he has, depending on his tolerance for the chemo pills and radiation, about 6-12 months. Sent you a text but this seems to be the only way to get you a message. xo
