Here I wait at LAX, feeling like our hero, Odysseus, about to embark on a journey of vast proportions. To everything there is a cycle and this one, like every other worthy project in life, requires God’s will and God’s power to set it into motion. The prayers of so many of you have been the wind in my sails. Thank you!
I had this seemingly brilliant idea to bring a gel seat cushion with me. Even though it weighs a ton, it folds up into my computer bag. But alas, I forgot about “liquids and gels” at security. And it’s a GEL cushion! It received a thorough inspection. And it made it through. We’ll see how far it gets on this globe-trotting trip. Odysseus might not have had so many problems if he had a gel cushion, a neck pillow, and a blanky.
On closer inspection, I don’t think it’s gel after all. No worries.
Time to brush my teeth and pretend I’m going to bed on the plane. 😴
