In May 2016 I traversed Sheep’s Head Way in Ireland. You may recall many episodes following Little Man, the trusty trail marker along the way.

This year I’m following another Contours UK itinerary and walking through Cornwall, England. I can hardly wait.
But first, I’ll be traveling to Finland to join a colleague in teaching a Summit University Retreat from August 3 – 6 and entitled, “The Path of the Bodhisattva Part 1–Developing the Compassionate Heart.” Summit University in Finland
Many of you may be surprised to know that I lived in Finland for two years from 1975 – 1977. I taught kindergarten there and the idea was that the children would learn English from me. I had two assistants who were bilingual. We divided the children into groups and rotated sessions each day between me and the assistants. I played the guitar and made up songs such as “Tie Your Shoes,” a big hit. The children really did learn English, too. It was great. I have many happy memories but have not been back since then. Now is my chance.

From Finland, I go to England to walk the Cornwall coast and THEN take the train to Exeter to join my colleague in teaching from August 26 – 28…you’ll never guess. “The Path of the Bodhisattva Part 2–Develop the Pure Heart.” Summit University in England. What an awesome opportunity.
I hope you will join me on this journey which also includes several weeks in India. More on that later.
Namaste, Lois
