Welcome to Russia! I love the shower in my central Moscow hotel called Hotel Suharevsky. http://www.hotelsuharevsky.ru

When I go to take a shower, I feel like I’m stepping into a cosmic capsule that will launch me into the universe. Can’t beat that! And here’s another cool Russian invention that goes with it. Well, actually it’s warm, not cool.

These are the hot water pipes that eventually make it into the shower. But they are arranged outside the wall so that you can hang your clothes to dry or warm up your towel. How clever!
And if you want to take a little peek at the rest of my room you can do so while you check out the new apron given to me by members of the Moscow study group of The Summit Lighthouse. Don’t be jealous though! You can expect me to whip up something delicious when I’m wearing this.

We had a totally awesome retreat on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday thanks to the hard work of everyone in Moscow and the presence of the light of the saints of east and west, otherwise known as ascended masters. We had plenty of time for contemplation, mantras, music, food, and laughter! This is a wonderful place and the people here are very warm. Maybe you can put Moscow in your travel plans someday.

Welcome to the Moscow center.

You can really work up an appetite when studying the master/disciple relationship known in the east as the guru/chela relationship. This was the theme of our retreat.

Eager students here are ready to delve into understanding the pitfalls of idolatry and how to conquer the negative aspects of the human ego. Whew! Now that will set one to thinking! Some very lively discussions inspired us and I was happy to participate having just come from Ireland where Patrick chased out the serpents of the human consciousness and replaced them with divine light of the universal Christ.
Our friends of the East might refer to this as the universal Vishnu or the Buddha nature, depending on their faith. It is that aspect of the Son of God broken for each one of us and living as the divine within our hearts waiting to be realized.

A little girl received gifts after her baptism.
I think we all felt we had received gifts of holiness as we concluded our time together and got ready to go back into the world. Onward to St. Petersburg! I wonder if I can take my cosmic capsule?
