I came by train back to Dublin today. On the way, I caught up on the news from home as reported in the Irish Examiner.

The big stories were that a domesticated, housebroken bison was sold from one family in Texas to another. Then, there was the man in Northern California who tried to hold up a car wash with a bag of potato chips. And, there was a bit about killer bees in Northern California. I guess Northern California had it hard this week. And finally, there was a story about a reward for a zebra who escaped from his home. I see that a lot is going on.
I walked from my hotel to the blue door as seen above and went online to find out when the Buddhist Center was open. The blue door was the entrance. Lo and behold, it was open just then so I made my way in and this is what I found behind the blue door.

I had a nice time listening to some Buddhist teachings on mindfulness and anger. http://www.buddism.ie
Oh, and earlier today I was silently reading a rosary in the waiting area of the Killarney train station. After I left the waiting area I noticed this picture was on the outside of its window.

It was a day of world religions. Amen!
