Isn’t there a children’s song about being a little sunbeam?

Blink.

The lights just went back on.   (That means, “Voila!  Here is a new post.”)

In Climb the Highest Mountain Book One by Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet, it says on page 57:

“Two thousand years ago when Christ walked upon the waters of the Sea of Galilee,” explains Saint Germain, “his demonstration was a manifestation of the natural law of levitation, operating within an energy framework of cohesion, adhesion, and magnetism–the very principles which make orbital flight possible.  The light atoms composing the body of Christ absorbed at will an additional quantity of cosmic rays and spiritual substance whose kinship to physical light made his whole body light, thereby making it easy for him to walk upon the sea as upon dry land.

“His body was purely a ray of light shining upon the waters.”

Putting it that way makes mastery of the natural universe sound easy!  If we could only identify completely with our Real Selves, I guess it would be easy.  Have you ever felt that you were really experiencing your God-Self working through you?

In Issa I portray Jesus as someone who came into life with great mastery, yet by going to India to study, teach and meditate he shows us all that there is a path of work, discipline and love that leads to our union with God.  This is the crux of controversy with traditional Christianity where many believe that Jesus is different than the rest of humanity because he came to Earth already as a god with no need to study and learn.  What do you think?

There is a section in Issa where the teacher character, Maitreyajna, helps Issa and the others pass through a threatening crowd without notice.  He was using his mastery of the matter world to slip through it.  Jesus demonstrates this phenomenon in the Bible as he passes through an angry mob.  Did he have this skill at birth?  Could he have learned it?  Can we learn it?

I want to be a sunbeam. 

P.S.  By the way, I hope your summers were great.  Mine was.  My husband and I went to a conference in Montana at The Summit Lighthouse where I lead the 7 -10 year old Day Camp.  Fun!  Then we drove to New Mexico to visit family and take a Cumbres-Toltec scenic train ride in the Rockies.

    I think it’s called “Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam”?

    My husband, for some reason, knows that paragraph from Saint Germain on Alchemy by heart and quotes it every so often. No matter how many times I hear it I get a sort of jolt and a thrill to realize that what we know as the amazing miracle of Jesus walking on the water is really just science and is therefore something that anybody could do if they were so inclined. It’s a good reminder as well that there was once a time when it would be unthinkable for humans to fly through the air or into space, and yet here we are, doing it all the time (well, air at least, lol).

    Good food for thought.

      Thanks for writing, Helen. The science of God is astounding. I believe Jesus understood it completely and mastered it. Is it blesphemous to think that he wants us to do the same? And what about having to study in order to gain that mastery? There is a popular Christian saying: WWJD–“What would Jesus do?” Am I following his path if I study scriptures and other spiritual works and try to apply them to my life as he did? The more I learn, the more God unfolds and the more I realize how unending the process is! For Jesus to demonstrate that as a youth gives me hope and courage.

    Thank you for reminding me Lois, of the glorious beauty and sweet, and very real presence of the ever-present Presence of God, God with us, God with us by God’s grace, in the warmth and loving-kindness of His Radiance, and, His Love!

    I felt this, once upon a time as a youth, when I was just 18 years of age, walking on a path in the North American wilderness just above the Kern river in the mountains of the High Sierras one summer afternoon. I sang, and, and felt, and recognized this love of God strong, with me, strongly, and, I, in the Presence of God with me, felt like an extension of God, even a *sunbeam* of God. And, for this, I am very, very grateful.

    Thanks for the reminder, once more!
