Retreat in the Heart of Darjeeling

Well, the time has come (almost!) for around sixty-five adventurers to meet me and friends in India.  Three weeks of retreat, tours, wonderful food, and stupendous sights and history.

Do you ever wonder why we in the West love India so much?  Is it the colors?  The patchwork jumble of so much happening at once?  Ancient memories of other lifetimes?  I’m sure it is all of that and much more.  But for me, part of the fascination with India is the enchantment of encountering the unexpected!  The ingenuity and creativity of the people unfolds all around me when I find that almost nothing is what I planned or imagined using Western order.

So, as I chronicle this upcoming adventure, I hope that you can get a sense of the same feeling.  Can you smell the incense?
